LegalPrivacy policy
This policy explains how Yeomans Functional Training Limited ("YFT", "we") handles personal information. We're the data controller. You can contact us at yeomansft@gmail.com, or at Bank Street Business Centre, 6 Bank Street, Malvern, WR14 2JN.
This website
This website doesn't ask you for personal information and doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site. We use Cloudflare's privacy-focused visitor statistics, which don't use cookies.
Links to TeamUp, Google Maps and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Memberships and bookings
Memberships, day passes, class bookings and payments are handled through TeamUp. We use your details to provide your membership and bookings, take payment, and contact you about them. We do this to perform our contract with you.
Health information
Everyone training at the gym completes a PAR-Q health questionnaire. Health information is sensitive, so we only use it to help you train safely, and only people who need it can see it.
CCTV and door access
CCTV operates in and around the gym for safety and security, including supporting unstaffed access. It isn't used in areas where you'd expect complete privacy, such as toilets or showers. Members open the door using their phone, which creates a record of access. We use these for our legitimate interests in keeping people and the gym safe.
Emails and Blue Light cards
If you email or message us, we use your details to reply. If you send a photo of your Blue Light card, we only use it to check your eligibility and delete it once that's done.
Photos and video
We sometimes take photos and video for marketing, and we announce when this is happening. Tell us if you'd rather not appear.
Sharing and keeping your information
We don't sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run the gym, such as TeamUp and our payment and door access providers, or where the law requires it. We keep it only for as long as we need it for these purposes or to meet legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email us and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
